Just not had the time

… for photography.  It’s been all work, no play, aggravated further by a little virus that manifested itself in my body as a man-flu.  Now I’ve got some time coming up.  Just need some inspiration.

Above portrait of Owen taken very much on the moment.  No light meter available, slow shutter speed and hand held.  Of course it’s not as sharp as I would like.  Developed in a nice new batch of Ilford ID-11.  I always dilute my stock developer to 1 part water, three parts water, just before using it, at 20 C.  I sometimes wonder  if I should try a stronger dilution.  I recently saw a pack of ID-11 to make 2.5 litres of stock, going for only a few more quid than a 1 litre packet.  Wish I’d bought it now.
